This draft reflects the current development website. The sole trader’s full legal name, business address and production hosting arrangements must be confirmed before public use. Tracking providers and container tags must be reviewed before activation. Client service contracts require separate agreed terms.
1. Essential by default
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage can also remember information on your device. Essential storage protects the enquiry form, supports its confirmation and remembers your privacy preferences.
Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Meta Pixel are planned but are not connected: no tracking IDs have been configured. Optional tools remain blocked unless the relevant permission is given. Your choice does not authorise new purposes or providers that have not been explained here.
Analytics permission is intended for understanding website visits. Marketing permission is intended for Meta campaign measurement and advertising. GTM can contain tags in either category, so our implementation requires both permissions before loading a configured container. Its tags, providers, purposes and storage durations must be audited and this inventory completed before activation.
2. Cookies and browser storage
Current application storage
Name / storage
Purpose
Duration
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.*
Protects contact-form submissions against cross-site request forgery.
Browser session; session restoration can preserve it.
.AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider
Carries the submission confirmation between requests.
Temporary; cleared when the confirmation is read.
westwood.consent.v1 (local storage)
Stores analytics and marketing choices, a version and expiry timestamp. Contains no enquiry details.
Recognised for 180 days; expired preferences are removed when next checked.
Framework cookie names may have generated suffixes. GTM and Meta storage is not currently created. Production hosting services and future tags must be inventoried before activation.
3. Your choice, at any time
Choose Essential only to decline optional tools, Accept all to permit both categories, or Customise to choose individually. Optional choices start switched off. Change or withdraw permission through or the footer link. Choices apply to this browser for 180 days.
When configured tools have loaded, withdrawing permission updates their consent state, removes accessible recognised first-party tracking cookies and reloads the page to stop their scripts. It does not undo information already sent or erase third-party records. Browser controls can also clear cookies and storage; blocking essential cookies may prevent the enquiry form working.
If local storage is unavailable, a choice lasts only for the current page and the prompt may reappear. You can read the site without accepting optional tools.
4. Planned providers
When activated with permission, Google and Meta may receive technical information such as IP address, browser information and pages visited. Provider processing and international-transfer safeguards must be reviewed before activation. Read Google’s privacy policy and Meta’s privacy policy. Our planned direct Meta integration sends a page-view event; it does not explicitly send enquiry form fields.
See our privacy policy for enquiry handling, retention and your rights.
Essential cookies keep the enquiry form working. With your permission, optional analytics and marketing tools can help us understand visits and measure campaigns. These tools are planned and are not connected yet. Read our cookie policy.
